I was honored to have been able to attend Eleanor’s Legacy Fall Luncheon. It was an inspirational and exciting afternoon for many. The video of the event will be uploaded to YouTube soon, so please keep an eye out for it so you can hear what the Progressive Pro-choice speakers had to say. Among many interesting things, I heard "Vote for Obama!" / Tuve el honor de atender al Almuerzo Otonial de la Legendaria Eleanor. Fue una tarde llena de inspiracion y emocion para muchos/as. El video del evento estara en YouTube pronto, asi que esten al pendiente para poder escuchar lo que estas mujeres Progresivas y Pro-aborto tuvieron que decir. Entre muchas cosas interesantes escuche "Voten por Obama !"

With my friend Laura who as also at the luncheon. She was recognized for contributing to the Upper West Side by helping accomodate and move the homeless which has become a big issue. I think we where the two only Mexicans in the crowd ! / Con mi amiga Laura quien tambien estuvo en el almuerzo. Ella fue reconocida por contribuir a la parte alta de Manhattan ayudando a acomodar y mover a los homeless (personas sin hogar) lo cual ha sido un gran problema ultimamente. Creo que eramos las unicas dos Mexicanas en el grupo !
